Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

Nice modern Savage Striker design, but big miss by not offering the 243 Winchester and 7mm-08 Remington cartridges. I would have to purchase one in 308 Winchester. Excellent ammunition availability and a better choice over the 6.5 Creedmoor.

looks like that 6.5cm did a good job, even out of the short barrel in that pistol. i have a 6.5cm with a 24 inch barrel ive been thinking about taking to a gunsmith to have it shortened to closer to 16 inches to make it easier to carry while hunting, but i was unsure what the ballistics would be like. What ammo were you using in that one during your hunt for the does?

My 6.5 LRH made a gnarly racked buck kick just like yours did. 290yd shot, ran about 125yd after the 140 A-Max did its work entering between the 5th and sixth ribs then exiting on the 5th rib. (Yeah, I really do investigate what my bullets do on every pig and deer.)
